General Needs Housing
St Peter’s (Saltley) Housing Association has a total of 105 properties available in the Saltley area of Birmingham. We have six houses locally and 99 flats on our small community based site; 44 of which are for 50+ housing. Information about this scheme can be found on the 50+ Housing page.
The remainder of the flats are let on a general needs basis to persons of 18 and over.
As we are a small organisation our waiting list is open twice a year. We may open the waiting lists if numbers fall below a certain level. Any lists that are open will be advertised here. Please check this page for updates.
The waiting list for general needs 1, 2 and 3 bedroom properties are now closed. This website will be updated when they are open again.

Birmingham City Council’s Choice Based Lettings Scheme is the way that the Council let their homes. Every week the properties available are advertised on the Birmingham Home Choice website and applicants can choose whether to bid on a property. To use the Choice Based Lettings Scheme, applicants must be registered with either, Birmingham City Council, Midland Heart or Family Housing. St Peter’s (Saltley) Housing Association waiting list
All applicants to St Peter’s are considered in line with a points system. All applicants will be interviewed within 8 weeks of receiving an application and placed in the relevant band.
